What are your cases made of?
Our cases are made of soft, breathable, and stretchy fabrics that feel comfortable against your skin. We choose high-quality materials and a neat finish without itchy seams.
Size and fit

How do I choose the right size for the case?

Check the size guide below. Not sure? Measure the length and width of the ostomy bag and email us at poowelz@upcmail.nl.

How do I measure my ostomy bag?

  1. Measure the length of your bag (top to bottom) in cm.
  2. Measure the width of the widest part.
  3. Choose the size that fully covers your pouch. Not sure? Choose the larger size.

Sizes (cases):

  • Small – 14 cm wide × 12.5 cm long
  • Medium – 14 cm wide × 17.5 cm long
  • Large – 16 cm wide × 21 cm long

Tips

  • Are you between sizes ? Choose the larger one for comfortable coverage.
  • Small & Medium are the same width (14cm) ; Large is wider (16cm) for extra volume.
  • There may be a minimal product tolerance (± 0.5 cm).

Does it fit any brand of ostomy bag?
Our cases fit most common sizes and shapes. For extra short or long cases, see the tips in the size guide or just ask us.
Water and heat

Can I wash the covers?

That's certainly possible. The following tips will help them stay beautiful for a long time:

  • Wash the covers preferably at 30°C (maximum 40°C ) and inside out .
  • Do not tumble dry, as this will affect the quality of the print.
  • Do not use fabric softener . Also avoid harsh chemicals such as bleach .
  • Do not iron on the print. Iron only inside out on a low setting and avoid the print as much as possible.

Can I swim/shower with POOWELZ?
Not yet. The fabric absorbs water, making the cover heavy and prone to slipping. I am, however, busy designing a special swim leash.

What about on vacation and in warm weather? The covers prevent sweat from accumulating on your skin, and the bag absorbs it.
Comfort and daily life

Do your products help against skin irritation?
The soft, breathable fabrics can reduce chafing. Medical questions? Contact your (ostomy) nurse.

Can I exercise with your cases?
Absolutely, it's even highly recommended. The case absorbs sweat and prevents cuts on your skin.

And intimacy?
The covers not only provide a soft skin-on-skin feeling, but also provide that extra bit of self-confidence
Shipping and returns

What is the delivery time?
NL/BE usually 1–3 working days

EU 3–7 business days (indicative). After ordering, you will receive a track & trace email.

How much does shipping cost?
Cases and emergency bag within the Netherlands: €4.25

Cases and emergency bag EU: €6.60

Large toiletry bag NL: €5.95

Large toiletry bag EU: €10

Please contact us for shipping outside Europe.

How do I return or exchange?
We certainly hope you're happy with your order! But if something isn't quite right, you can return it within 14 days of receipt.

What can you return?

  • Unused, unworn and unwashed products
  • In original condition
  • Within 14 days of receipt

What cannot be returned?

  • Used or washed ostomy covers
  • Custom-made products
  • Products that have been damaged after receipt

How do you return?

  1. Send an email to poowelz@upcmail.nl with your order number and reason for return
  2. You will receive instructions for returning
  3. Please return the item to the specified return address at your own expense.

Please ensure you keep proof of postage: returns are at your own risk.

Refund

  • Once we have received and inspected your return, we will refund the purchase amount within 5 working days via the original payment method.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
