My First Talk Show: POOWELZ at The Week of Gelderland on Omroep Gelderland
On May 17, 2024, I was invited to my very first real talk show: "De Week van Gelderland" (The Week of Gelderland) on Omroep Gelderland. A milestone for me and for POOWELZ. What a special experience to be able to share on this stage why I started POOWELZ. We talked about the power of visibility, the use of social media, and how my unique ostomy pouches help people express themselves.
The reaction after the broadcast was overwhelming. I received countless heartwarming DMs from people who finally felt truly seen. That's what I do it for. For me, this performance wasn't just a television highlight, but above all a powerful reminder: openness works.
